Acer Liquid officially released phablet S1 at the Computex 2013 held in Taipei

Not to be outdone by the other Android vendors, Acer finally enliven large screen smartphone market 'phablet'. Through the Computex 2013 held in Taipei, Acer Liquid officially released phablet named S1.

This device uses a quad-core processor 1.5 GHz artificial Mediatek, 1GB of RAM, dual-SIM slot, 8GB of internal storage capacity, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 2400mAh battery and runs stock Android 4.2.

Phablet is provided an internal memory of 8GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD. At the front of the phone is also a 2MP camera. Meanwhile there is also an 8MP camera on the back capable of recording full HD 1080p video.

Liquid S1 carry 24mm front camera capable of capturing images up to 88 degrees. As for entertainment, the Acer embed DTS Studio Sound technology which is claimed to mengasilkan audio like in the cinema.

According to the plan, the Acer will start selling this phablet in Q3 2013 at a price of 455 USD (approximately USD 4.5 million) and will come the first time to the European continent.
